Change to Cargologic’s Executive Board and organizational structure

Effective 1 July 2020, Martin Theiler will take over as Executive Board member for Sales and Marketing.

Martin Theiler has been part of the Cargologic team since the beginning of April, and the insight into the company he has built up over these three months will be invaluable to him in his new role as Executive Board member for Sales and Marketing.

Before joining Cargologic, Martin Theiler was latterly Senior Vice President and Country Head of Air Freight at Panalpina AG and, prior to that, Global Aerospace Product Manager at Kuehne + Nagel Management AG. He brings with him broad-based knowledge of the forwarding business. At Cargologic,
his expertise will be focused primarily on merging and taking care of the Airline and Forwarder sales organizations, and he will hold additional responsibility for Business Development. We are convinced that Martin Theiler will help take our Sales unit and customer care to a new level.

Markus Schürmann will take on a new role for Cargologic in Innovation, Strategic Development and Projects. After six years in his executive management function as EVP Landside Handling & Projects, Markus Schürmann will take on his new role as of 1 July 2020; he will thus remain available to Cargologic. We would like to thank Markus Schürmann most sincerely for his services to the Executive Board. We wish him every success in his new role and are pleased that Cargologic will continue to benefit
from his expertise.

Jürg Zimmermann will now be in charge of all operational Airline and Forwarder Handling units.

Michel Bonsera will hand the Airline Sales & Marketing unit over to Martin Theiler from 1 July and focus on management of the QHSSE unit (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, Environment) on a full-time basis.

The new organization, which will see a number of changes in the process units, will be definitively launched and implemented with effect from 1 August 2020.
